1Peter 4: 1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.
St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us.
My Lord and MY God

Dear CUSA friends,

I hope this short note to each of you brings you a sense of gift, grace, and blessing on this day! As I sit at my desk and look out and God's creation, I see a beautiful sugar maple tree with its golden leaves, just awesome! When I think of autumn, I think of the many times I have had the privilege of just spending time looking and watching the creation around myself change. I also am so much aware of the many changes that have taken place in my own life over the past four years. As I age, I find myself giving thanks to God for the many blessings he has given me, even when I was reconvening from my cancer treatments, I could take the time and just be patient with myself. When we take some time out of our busy day and just BE with God, we can see so much joy in the moments of silence. I would like to encourage each of you during this week and into next week, to just stop and think about how you're doing with God and how you're doing with the gifts that have been given to you.

I am not sure who our patron saint is, or our motto, could someone fill me in with those spiritual starters?

In your prayers, please remember my Uncle Ronald Bocian who died this past week. Also please pray for our firefighters and police officers who suffer from PTSD. (Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder)

Peace and all good,
Brother Ed Arambasich, OFM
